From the 1950s until the 1980s, the A-4 Skyhawk was an effective fighter-bomber in the US Navy from aircraft carriers. Until the 21st century, aircraft of this type continued to fly in certain countries. It was particularly recently during air shows that the spectacular Blue Angels of the American Navy's aerobatic patrol made this aircraft known. This type of “Blue Angels” aircraft from the series of various variants of the A-4 Skyhawk served as a reference for the scale model that we present.

The scale model made from plastic foam elements is already painted and equipped with servos. The individual components are the fuselage, the wing, the cabin canopy, the vertical and horizontal fixed planes which are striking with their details such as passages, maintenance flaps, trim control surfaces, etc. Simply glue the components together and equip the wheelhouse with its small elements for the ailerons and elevator and the model is finished.
Its low weight and compact size provide the model with a certain excess of power which gives its pilot jet sensations. Fast rolls, very open loops and tight turns emphasize the dynamic aspect in flight and make the pilot's heart beat faster.
