When designers HPI launched the BAJA 5B on the market, no one imagined the response it would receive from the general public. It has been copied, optioned by small craftsmen, dissected by enthusiast forums, etc. At the time of taking stock of its existence and encouraged by the glowing reviews to which it has received, HPI wished to further improve the performance of this Baja 5B and thus satisfy the desires of aficionados of the R model. We therefore present to you the new BAJA 5B 2.0, this is the new version of the BAJA 5B which has brought the 1/5 scale 2WD to a level of performance never before equaled.

Changes to the Baja 5B:
- The bodywork is now available in 3 colors (blue, gray, red)
- The 23cc engine has been improved (new cylinder head, new resonator and new clutch) for a power gain of around 10%.
- New shock absorber for the BAJA 5B SS
- New Torx T27 launcher mounting hardware
- New anodized Gunmetal chassis
- The BAJA chassis pre-assembled
- Pre-painted bodywork
- A 2.4ghz radio control with integrated fail-safe system
- 6V receiving battery pack
- Pre-installed 23CC engine

All that's left to do is fill the tank with a gasoline/oil mixture and off you go.

Material needed to complete the Baja 5B 2.0 kit:
- 8 batteries for the transmitter
- Gasoline + 2-stroke oil
- Charge for the receipt pack
