5/10 Quadri back flight (19/03/2015 15:06)
3 flight modes: - Beginner mode = "Stability Mode" in the US instructions, beginner mode in the French instructions. This is the “recommended” mode for getting started/getting started. When you release the sticks, the Nano returns to horizontal. We have very little travel. To fly indoors like a lounge it's OK. To fly outside in the wind, I personally avoid it because little travel = on the other hand, less resources to catch up with your machine. Well, it's very subjective. - Intermediate mode = mode so that the machine does flips "by itself". In the US instructions = Evo mode which could have been called evolution mode. But this term is used after... You can learn to fly inverted with it. To "make" things easier, the controls are not "inverted" and we keep the return horizontal when we release the sticks. If you've never done an inverted flight, it can help... on the other hand, if you already have some personal experience, I didn't like it. Precisely because in “real life” on the back we normally have reversed controls. - Advanced mode. More interesting as soon as you have passed a certain level of mastery you have the "advanced" mode = 3D Agility Mode (in the US instructions) to switch to and "control" your flips and inverted flights with this time "normal" controls. Note: You must select this mode before taking off because once in flight you cannot return to the other modes. +++ So, stick down we have gas... On the other hand, if we want to take off directly on the back at the start the engines do not run OK You simply have to put on the gas, spend half of the race. The motors run in the “belly” direction. Then lower your stick again. We then engage the throttle reversal and... we can take off directly from the ground while being on our back. Advantage of the machine for learning and improving inverted flight: the possibility of taking off or landing, as I said, directly in inverted flight!! - The machine can take off and land either on its stomach or on its back without problems. In inverted flight, the BH motors turn in the opposite direction than in belly flight... With a Tx type JR Propo DSX9 I have a helico type throttle cutoff (on an inter) and above all... the possibility of modifying my throttle curve. In 3D mode it's a plus to reduce "shocks" when passing between your stomach and back! In 3D mode we easily lose propellers, I have already burned out an engine, damaging an element of the chassis in the process... but I still recommend it!! - Trying flips in your living room is great!! - Lipos E-Flite 200 mAh or.. BeeZ in 300 mAh to have more autonomy.
5/10 Nano qx 3d test (10/03/2015 16:31)
First tests after receiving it very quickly: it's great! Very quick to use, the size and weight allow it to fly in your living room. We quickly start doing flips in evo mode; very nice! (6 minutes battery life)
