The Jean Barbera is a radio-controlled pylon racing plane inspired by a model racer from the 1970s. The hollow wing tips and bosses on the engine cowling give this plane a specific appearance and character. The full-size plane is assembled from carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced with plastic. This combination of materials allows for a unique design. The first participation in the National Championships in 1995 resulted in a brilliant second place, the maximum speed reached by the Jean Barbera during these championships being around 359 km/h. Subsequently, the aircraft won numerous championships. The highest speed reached by the Jean Barbera was 384 km/h!
The Barbera Jean is intended for experienced pilots. Wood and balsa construction, fully covered with Oracover®. The model can reach very high speeds depending on the engine used. This RC plane is sold as a kit alone. It is therefore necessary to purchase the following items: A 4-way radio set with 5 servos, a 7cc 2T or 11cc 4T motor.
