SAFE Plus features and functions include:

AutoLand mode When activated with the press of a button, the advanced AutoLand feature puts the Carbon Cub S+ on a stabilized approach to stop autonomously near the GPS initialization point. You can even provide directional guidance to avoid obstacles or adjust approach while letting the system do the rest to execute a safe landing. As your skills progress and you gain more confidence, you can take more control of the sticks and ultimately learn to land without any assistance from the automated system.
Fashion holding This convenient exclusive SAFE Plus feature essentially allows you to “pause” a flight by placing the aircraft in a GPS-guided hold mode. When activated after a quick button press, the aircraft automatically returns to a position above the GPS initialization point and taxis until the command is canceled. This is a great way to safely hand over controls to a friend or regain eye contact if you lose the role model.
Virtual Fence It's easy to accidentally let an RC plane fly too far, but with Virtual Fence no more worry because it creates an invisible boundary the plane won't pass. When the plane reaches this limit, it will automatically turn and head to the GPS initialization point, then the plane will wave the wings to notify you when you have control again.
Panic If you lose control of the aircraft in more advanced control modes, simply switch to Beginner mode and release the control sticks. SAFE® Plus technology automatically returns the aircraft to level flight.
Beginner Fashion Tilt and angle limits prevent excessive control that can lead to loss of orientation and collisions. When the control sticks are released, the aircraft returns to level flight. The best... for your takeoffs it's as simple as accelerating and letting the plane roll on the ground.
Intermediate fashion More freedom in terrain and angles, but this mode still prevents excessive control and does not return to level flight alone. This mode allows you to make sharper turns and climb and descend faster as your skills advance. Beginner mode automatically activates and returns the aircraft to level flight when the aircraft descends below approximately 30 feet (9m) above ground level and the sticks are released.
Experimental Fashion No limit on angle tilt or barrier, you have total control! You can even fly inverted (upside down) and perform acrobatic maneuvers, including loops, rolls, flips and more. Panic Recovery mode can be activated by switching to Beginner mode and releasing the sticks.
